Growing up in a strict, pious household My encounter with Fine Art was the gateway to My Erotic journey. I studied drawing and painting only to recognize I was obsessed with rendering flesh. I learned anatomy and adored figure drawing class because the body was a point of reference, a study, a muse.

When I discovered photography end of high school, I realized I wanted My Illusions to be much closer to reality. I abandoned drawing and painting for a younger and immediate medium. I desperately wanted to hold the world I was in and posses it in My hands.

I left San Francisco to pursue fashion photography in New York City. In the course of My studies, I gravitated towards the sophisticated nude, ritual, and sensual materiality. With My distinct visual language, I created BDSM imagery without knowing or engaging in the practice. Uncovered through My art practice, there was an inherent need to express the kinky deviant in Me.
